JSST2023 will be held in a face-to-face format for the first time in three years at Niigata University. The impact of the COVID-19 has brought about changes not only in the academic field but in all fields, and we hope to create and disseminate new trends and directions at the JSST conference that will renew the values we have held in the past. Revitalizing the JSST conference more than ever is essential for this purpose. With your active participation, we hope to make this year’s conference a great success and to make a new start from this year’s conference.
